Ushbu maqolada sarlavhalarning o‘ziga xos xususiyatlari va ularni tarjima qilish jarayonida yuzaga keladigan muammolar yoritiladi. Sarlavha nafaqat matn mazmunini ifodalovchi vosita, balki o‘quvchining e’tiborini jalb etuvchi omildir. Tarjimada sarlavhaning mazmunini, uslubini, konnotatsiyasini to‘g‘ri yetkazish tarjimon oldida jiddiy masalalardan biri sifatida turadi. Maqolada matbuot materiallari asosida ba’zi sarlavhalarning tarjimasi tahlil qilinib, tarjimada uchraydigan madaniy, uslubiy va leksik qiyinchiliklar ko‘rib chiqiladi.
