This paper examines the role of international financial institutions (IFIs), such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, and regional development banks, in facilitating economic recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic. It explores how IFIs provided financial support, policy advice, and technical assistance to countries facing severe economic disruptions due to the pandemic. The paper highlights several key recovery mechanisms, including emergency financing, debt relief programs, and social protection initiatives, which were critical in mitigating the pandemic’s economic impact.
