Abstract

Today, wheat is one of the most widely cultivated agricultural crops in the world in order to meet the food needs of the world's population. The annual increase in the world's population requires farmers to obtain high and high-quality wheat crops. In all countries where wheat is grown, the largest crop is lost due to fungal diseases, and especially yellow rust disease. For this reason, many phytopathologists are conducting scientific research to study this disease of wheat in depth and develop effective measures to combat it. The article studies the spread and development of yellow rust disease in wheat fields grown in the Syrdarya region of our Republic, as well as the effectiveness of modern fungicides against it. Also, recommendations are given on constant monitoring of the phytosanitary condition of grain fields during the growing season, and on the use of urgent measures to protect the crop in case of a strong spread and development of any disease.
