This article examines agriculture’s multifaceted contributions to employment, poverty reduction, and sustainable development. Drawing on global and regional studies, it highlights challenges and opportunities in the agricultural sector and proposes policy recommendations to enhance its impact. The findings underscore the need for investments in innovative practices, supportive policies, and rural infrastructure to maximize agriculture’s potential.
